he repair company for phototechnical equipment was founded in 1946 by the photo mechanic Anton Paepke near Düsseldorf. His endeavor was to obtain customer service contracts with some of the established photographic companies of the time for repairs to their products. Close contacts quickly developed with the companies Leitz (Leica) and Rollei (Franke & Heidecke).
In 1955 it was necessary to move the company headquarters to Düsseldorf.In the 60’s the customer service was extended by contracts with Bosch/Bauer (film equipment) and Metz (flash equipment). For the brands Leica and Rollei the customer service was extended to all product groups.
In the following time Paepke – Fototechnik developed to a service company, which was not only active in Germany, but also for the neighboring countries Benelux, France, Switzerland and Austria.
At our current location in Düsseldorf – Rath we carry out repairs and maintenance for Leica and Rollei products worldwide. Our motivated technicians guarantee professional repairs.
